Molly Irwin

Born and raised in Phoenix, AZ, Molly studied Communications with a focus on Film Studies at Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. Immediately after graduating with departmental honors in 2005, she moved to New York where she learned that analyzing films was hard to translate into a real job. After stints as a receptionist and retail sales clerk, she broke into the ‘biz in 2006 as a set intern on Oscar-nominated “American Gangster.”

For the next few years she worked as a Production Assistant on movies and TV series filmed in the NY area, including award-winning “The Wrestler,” “Old Dogs,” “Sex and the City 2,” “The International,” the HBO series “How to Make it in America” and two seasons on one of the best television series ever made – FX’s “Rescue Me,” where she was exposed to the brilliant people who produced the show. In 2010 she moved up the PA ranks to become Assistant to the Producers Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Mark Vahradian and David Ready on the film “Man on a Ledge.”

Molly joined the Apostle team in June 2011 as Assistant to Producers Jim Serpico and Tom Sellitti. At the end of 2011 she assumed the additional responsibility of assisting Conan Smith, VP of the management division.
“Molly’s the best!” – Everyone.
